Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPN configurations to ensure network integrity.
- Lead post-incident reviews and report on security metrics to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
