Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems to identify and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to secure applications and networks.
- Implement and manage security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Lead incident response efforts and root cause analysis for security breaches.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency with security tools including Splunk, FireEye, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a major plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
