Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of critical systems
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Provide expert guidance on compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security awareness programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with hands-on threat mitigation experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and network security protocols
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
