Responsibilities
- Architect and implement zero-trust security frameworks across hybrid environments
- Lead incident response for critical breaches using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of cloud infrastructure
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell for threat mitigation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior engineers on advanced threat detection methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Proficiency in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike/Microsoft Defender)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
