Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation tools using Python and PowerShell
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and create security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Splunk)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
