Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced security frameworks across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response for high-severity breaches using SOAR and SIEM platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise systems
- Develop zero-trust network architectures and access control policies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in senior engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required (CEH acceptable)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and containerized environments
- Proven experience with Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or Splunk technologies
- Strong background in NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field preferred
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
