Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations for critical systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise assets
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and identity management
- Proven track record in threat intelligence analysis and mitigation
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
