We are urgently hiring a top-tier Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our elite Security Operations Center (SOC) in San Jose, CA. Responsibilities
- Lead the 24/7 monitoring and triage of security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Conduct deep-dive forensic investigations into security incidents and develop actionable remediation plans.
- Design and implement Zero Trust network architectures and access controls.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Security (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network defense.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH are strongly required.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
