Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security frameworks to protect organizational assets and sensitive data.
- Conduct proactive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and manage threat intelligence feeds.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proven experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and log analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
