Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and executive summaries using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders to measure business performance.
- SQL & Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to extract data and collaborate with engineering teams on database improvements.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and support long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into business recommendations.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Tampa, FL (relocation assistance provided).
