Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced security architectures, including Zero Trust models and SIEM deployments.
- Conduct comprehensive threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate risks.
- Oversee incident response plans, directing the team through active breaches and forensic investigations.
- Develop and enforce corporate security policies, compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA), and access control protocols.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor security alerts in real-time and automate responses using SOAR technologies.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and industry trends to recommend proactive security measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Experience with security tools like Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, or Check Point.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strict deadlines.
