Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security systems, detect anomalies, and respond to security incidents in real-time to minimize downtime and data exposure.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement comprehensive security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and NIST frameworks across all departments.
- Incident Investigation: Lead post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to improve our defensive posture against future attacks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network engineering.
- Certifications: Possession of or working towards CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), and endpoint protection platforms.
- Remote Work: Must be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in remote work environments.
