Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response activities including threat detection, analysis, and remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into DevOps workflows
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools and investigate anomalous activities
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Strong expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security protocols
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or similar platforms
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
