Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity and respond to incidents in real-time.
- Develop, document, and enforce enterprise-wide security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security measures into the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Investigate security breaches, perform digital forensics, and implement remediation strategies.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related technical field.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and web application security.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container security (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and CCPA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
