Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide cybersecurity architectures and security controls.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
- Oversee incident response procedures, ensuring rapid containment and recovery from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA.
- Manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems and provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security models (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and threat analysis.
