Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) activities to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures, including Zero Trust models and next-generation firewalls.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts, conducting forensic analysis and root cause determination after security breaches.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and software development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ is required.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or CrowdStrike).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and threat hunting.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security.
