Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure network architectures and access control systems.
- Lead incident response and forensic analysis for security breaches and cyberattacks.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and code reviews.
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS) and correlate alerts to identify threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or network security.
- Strong proficiency with Linux, Windows Server, and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and anti-malware technologies.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
