Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
- Mentor junior security engineers and document security protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ in engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and zero-trust architecture
- Strong experience with threat intelligence platforms
- Proficient in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Experience with cloud security posture management tools
- Knowledge of NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500 cybersecurity regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
