Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and FireEye.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, incident response plans, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software development and deployment.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to proactively defend against new attacks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCFA are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies such as Snort, Nessus, and Python scripting.
