Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures to protect organizational assets against cyber threats.
- Monitor security alerts and analyze threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to ensure system integrity.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve security breaches efficiently.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
