Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPNs.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Investigate security breaches, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation.
- Collaborate with IT and software development teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
