Responsibilities
- Lead and direct incident response efforts to identify, contain, and neutralize security breaches in real-time.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for both on-premise and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Manage and optimize SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools to monitor threats.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Perform threat hunting and proactive analysis to uncover hidden risks within the network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security+ certification is required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering or information security analysis.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization and cloud security principles (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
