Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce enterprise-wide security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Perform threat hunting activities to proactively identify malicious actors within the network.
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams to design secure architectures for new applications and systems.
- Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees to reduce human error risk.
Qualifications
- Certification: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security concepts.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
