Responsibilities
- Incident Response & Forensics: Lead the investigation and containment of security breaches, conducting thorough forensic analysis to prevent future attacks.
- Threat Monitoring: Utilize SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK) to monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and respond to alerts 24/7.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure before malicious actors exploit them.
- Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain robust firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and encryption protocols.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
- Team Collaboration: Conduct security awareness training for staff and collaborate with IT operations to integrate security best practices.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, or CISM certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Tools: Proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash) and experience with cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
