Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex security architectures and firewalls to protect enterprise assets.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Develop and automate security monitoring tools and scripts using Python or Bash.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
