Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for our Equity Options trading systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to proactively identify risks.
- Monitor security alerts, analyze logs, and respond to security incidents in real-time to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA) across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Lead security awareness training and incident response drills for staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or a related role within the financial services or fintech sector.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
