Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DLP systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and coordinate with legal and PR teams as needed.
- Develop and automate detection rules for SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to enhance real-time threat visibility.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct security awareness training for staff.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Proven track record in designing secure network architectures and incident response plans.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
