Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols for enterprise networks
- Lead incident response operations during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop security automation solutions using Python and SIEM platforms
- Mentor junior analysts and maintain comprehensive security documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/Threat Detection roles
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proven incident response handling with NIST framework
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (relocation assistance includes sponsorship)
