Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust solutions
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches, conducting forensic analysis and mitigation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across complex IT infrastructures
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python, PowerShell, and SIEM integrations
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across departments
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in enterprise-level security engineering
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP with active CE credits
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Advanced knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills for automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Proven track record of architecting secure-by-design systems
