Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain advanced security architectures and threat detection systems.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and comprehensive vulnerability assessments across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Oversee incident response procedures and lead forensic investigations for security breaches.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage and tune SIEM solutions, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Lead security audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or GSEC required; Security+ acceptable for entry-level with equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Deep understanding of network security, cryptography, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/AWS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and tooling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
