About The Role
In this pivotal role, you will lead our security architecture initiatives, manage incident response operations, and ensure our compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain advanced network security solutions including firewalls, SIEMs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, conducting thorough post-incident analyses and forensic investigations.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security flaws.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor security alerts and intelligence feeds to proactively defend against emerging threats.
- Train and mentor junior security analysts on security protocols and threat detection techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, or Check Point.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
