Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security architectures on AWS cloud platforms
- Lead incident response protocols for complex security breaches
- Develop automation tools for continuous security monitoring and compliance
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate security by design principles
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in cloud security
- CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent certification required
- Expertise in AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM)
- Hands-on experience with SIEM implementation (Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong background in network security and zero-trust architectures
- Python scripting for security automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Experience in regulated industries (FINRA, HIPAA, DoD)
