Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyber-attacks with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise environments
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks for cloud and hybrid infrastructures
- Mentor junior engineers and document security procedures
- Collaborate with FBI/DOJ partners on active threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with SOC/SIEM experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and network protocols
- Proficiency in Python/Go for automation scripting
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Experience with NIST 800-53 frameworks
- Proven track record in incident response (IR) tabletop exercises
