Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools
- Assist in implementing security controls and access management policies
- Document security incidents and participate in forensic analysis
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing under supervision
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
- Assist in developing incident response playbooks
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and threats
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience (IT, CompTIA Security+, or related field preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
