Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures using cloud-native and hybrid solutions
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyber threats across enterprise environments
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python and Ansible
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java) and scripting abilities
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevSecOps
- Proven track record of leading complex security projects
- Active U.S. government security clearance preferred
