Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced security controls across cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response operations for high-stakes security breaches
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on critical systems
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python and Terraform
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior security engineers through our internal knowledge-sharing program
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering/architecture roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent industry certification
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and containerized environments
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel) and EDR tools
- Strong background in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)
- Ability to translate complex security concepts for technical/non-technical stakeholders
