Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security protocols for cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Lead incident response and threat hunting initiatives using SIEM platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop security automation solutions using Python/Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk/QRadar
- Document security policies and procedures
- Mentor junior security engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network architecture
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relocate to San Jose, CA with relocation assistance
