Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for critical infrastructure breaches across financial services and healthcare sectors
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise environments
- Develop automation scripts for security orchestration (SOAR) to reduce response time by 40%
- Mentor junior engineers on secure coding practices and threat modeling
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Present quarterly security posture reports to CISO leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Certified CISSP or OSCP with active SANS GIAC certifications
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes)
- Experience with NIST CSF framework and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Proficiency in Python/Go for security tool development
- Proven track record of reducing MTTR by 30%+ in complex environments
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
