Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM and EDR tools
- Develop automation scripts for vulnerability management and compliance monitoring
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments for critical systems
- Maintain SOC operations with 24/7 monitoring and alert triage
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Document security policies and procedures with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency in Python/Go for security automation and tooling
- Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated knowledge of zero-trust models and SASE frameworks
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and communicate complex concepts
