Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for security breaches including forensics and root cause analysis
- Develop zero-trust network architectures and cloud security frameworks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior engineers on emerging threats and defensive strategies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in enterprise-level security engineering
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Advanced knowledge of network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Proven incident response leadership with documented case studies
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
