Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy advanced security solutions including SIEM, EDR, and cloud security platforms
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and incident response coordination
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop security automation using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Mentor junior security engineers and document security procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (GCIH/GCIPE preferred)
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and IDS/IPS technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
