Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and zero-trust architectures
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premises environments
- Develop security automation tools using Python and PowerShell for threat detection
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with network security, cloud security, or threat intelligence
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification (required)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure security services and container security
- Experience with threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
