Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced security controls across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response for high-stakes security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across technical teams
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security architecture and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Hands-on experience with threat hunting, EDR solutions, and network security
- Strong Python/bash scripting for automation and tool development
- Proven track record of leading security incident response
