Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust security solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Lead incident response for security breaches and conduct post-mortem analyses
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with 3+ years in cloud environments
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in SIEM (Splunk/Symantec), IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Proven track record of leading security incident response
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud security posture management
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
