Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network security architectures and firewall policies.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Enforce compliance standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS across the organization.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident reports and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and software development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security engineering.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, controls, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for security automation.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
