Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-wide security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security gaps.
- Lead incident response efforts, investigating breaches and mitigating threats in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to proactively prevent cyberattacks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related technical role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
