Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures using cloud-native and on-premise solutions
- Lead incident response for complex cyber threats including APTs and ransomware attacks
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security awareness training programs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Research emerging threats and publish threat intelligence reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP (or equivalent)
- Expertise in SIEM implementation (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and NIST frameworks
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (sponsorship provided)
