Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Monitoring: Leverage SIEM (Splunk, QRadar) and SOAR platforms to identify and neutralize cyber threats in real-time.
- Incident Response Leadership: Spearhead major security incident investigations, root cause analysis, and post-incident remediation efforts.
- Architecture & Hardening: Design and implement robust security architectures, Next-Gen Firewalls, and encryption protocols for our cloud and on-premise environments.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Compliance Oversight: Maintain strict adherence to regulatory frameworks including SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Threat Intelligence: Analyze global threat intelligence feeds to proactively defend against emerging attack vectors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or incident response.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or PowerShell; hands-on experience with AWS or Azure security services.
- Tools: Strong command of EDR solutions, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable insights for executive leadership.
