Responsibilities
- Lead and manage incident response efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate security breaches and minimize downtime.
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust security architecture to protect enterprise systems against advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
- Analyze threat intelligence and security logs using SIEM tools to proactively detect and respond to anomalies.
- Enforce and monitor compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees to foster a culture of security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are strongly required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies.
