Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and incident response investigations to identify and neutralize sophisticated cyber attacks.
- Oversee vulnerability management programs, performing regular penetration testing and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Develop and conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error and social engineering risks.
- Monitor security alerts and trends, providing actionable intelligence to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships for third-party security tools and services, ensuring optimal performance and ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar advanced certification is highly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, incident response, or SOC management.
- Deep expertise in security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and Zero Trust architecture.
- Proficiency with security tools including Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto Networks.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell for automating security tasks and report generation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
